With the holiday party season upon us, we figured this list will give you folks something to chat about over the mulled wine. This list is compiled mainly from Zillow's completed sales list and will probably change; a lot of big expensive estates (like Wooldon Manor, in contract at a last asking price of $48M) are currently in contract but have not closed. Maybe they will, maybe they won't before the new year. Generally speaking, these property sales are less impressive than last year's, except for the headline-making Further Lane $62.5M purchase by mogul and Curbed Hamptons favorite Steven A. Cohen.
