The Southampton Press filed a FOIA request with the Suffolk County Water Authority and found that the top residential public water users in 2010 used a lot of water. The top consumer with 18.4 million gallons was Mickey Drexler (of J. Crew fame) at his Bridgehampton home. That's enough water to fill almost 30 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
