Hamptons homes for sale along the 10C bus route

The route loops around Montauk

View as Map

For Transportation Week, Curbed is checking out some homes that are for sale along popular bus routes in our cities. Curbed Hamptons is taking a look at the 10C bus route—which runs from the East Hampton Railroad to Ditch Plains in Montauk.

The bus only runs nine times a day. The earliest bus is at 6:50 a.m. from the Montauk Dock, and the last one is at 6:35 p.m from the East Hampton Railroad.

So while it’s incredibly infrequent and not ideal for commuting to work—especially since the 4:35 p.m. bus is the only one that runs the entire length of the route—it works well for those hanging out in Montauk for the day.

And a great bonus—in the summer, there’s a connecting shuttle to the Montauk Lighthouse.
