What to do in the Hamptons this St. Patrick’s Day

Are you going to the iconic St. Patrick’s Day parade in Montauk?

View as Map

It’s time to break out the green eyeliner and Irish sweaters—St. Patrick’s Day is here. Long Islanders love celebrating the holiday by donning themselves in celebratory gear, eating corned beef and cabbage, and going out with friends to local bars and restaurants.

This year, St. Patrick’s Day is on a Saturday, which makes celebrating a bit easier for those who work during the week. The famous St. Patrick’s Day parade in Montauk is happening a full week after the actual holiday—so you’ve got plenty of time to prepare and purchase your green leprechaun hats at half-price once March 18 rolls around.

Check out local events to see how you want to spend your holiday.
