Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. And while many people will be booking reservations for two at Hamptons restaurants, we mapped some of the most romantic local spots along the South Fork for those looking to enjoy the company of their Valentine on the cheap.

Hot Dog Beach was once host to a hip night club, but now there are just amazing views over the dunes—perfect for couples.
Admittedly, the bridge itself would not be a good spot to make out. There’s usually a decent amount of traffic, there isn’t much walking space, and it gets very windy at the top of the bridge. Plus, traffic will only make the wind situation that much worse.
But the bottom of the bridge is calm, with rocks to sit on and enjoy the views of the water.
Cryder Beach is great for those who want a spot that’s not as busy as the more popular beaches, like Cooper’s. Cryder is still an ocean beach with great views.
The back of the Southampton Arts Center is quiet and has a fountain and benches to sit. Check out the bust statues lining the gardens and enjoy each other’s company.
The Parrish Art Museum is so romantic that it’s often used as a wedding venue.
Though it’s rocky, this is a great place to stop on your way to Sag Harbor with a double-sized beach towel, cuddle up, and watch the sunset.
Right off the bridge that takes you from North Haven into Sag Harbor, there’s a bit space on Windmill Beach that’s a great spot for a romantic picnic.
How romantic are the vineyards at Wölffer? Take a walk through the rows of grapes with your boo before getting a cheese and prosciutto platter.
The LongHouse Reserve sculpture garden is very romantic, and a great laid-back date option.
The classic Maidstone Club is the perfect place for a romantic stay-cation.
Reserving a campsite is just $35 (or $70 for non-New York State residents)—which is much cheaper than a lot of the hotels out here. And the views are unbeatable.
The oceanside cliffs at Hither Hills are a bit rocky—but totally worth the views of the ocean and of Montauk Lighthouse. Plus, it’s a great hiking trail on a sunny day.
The Montauk Lighthouse is a family-friendly destination, so you’re going to want to keep the tonsil hockey to a minimum. But the views over the ocean from the top of the lighthouse will make it hard not to go in for a little kiss.
