The holiday falls on a Wednesday this year, so they'll be something happening almost every day between Friday and the middle of next week. Use this handy guide to plan your partying accordingly.

On Friday and Saturday night, Mulford Farm will be hosting "Festival of Frights: Grimm Scary Tales at Haunted Mulford Farm." The festivities run from nightfall to 10pm both evenings with a rain date scheduled for Sunday. Tickets are $10/family, $5/adult, $2/child.

Sag Harbor Whaling Museum

Sag Harbor's Whaling Museum gets in the Halloween spirit this weekend by hosting haunted tours Friday through Sunday night from 6pm to 9pm. Cost of admission is $10 "per body". The site notes that the tour is recommended for those over the age of 12.

Stephen Talkhouse

On Friday at 10PM, The Talkhouse will be playing host to a Halloween Party. Music by Booga Sugar, prizes for best costume and drink specials. Entry is 21+ and costs $20.

Bridgehampton Community House

The Bridgehampton Lions Club is holding their annual pumpkin carving contest on Monday, October 29th. Prizes range from $20 up to $250. The Milk Pail will be providing cider and donuts and Goat On A Boat Theatre will be performing a puppet show.

This Saturday, from 7pm to 10pm, the Amagansett Fire Department will be throwing their first Halloween Party. Beer, wine and food will be served. The cost for the 21+ event is $25.

Backyard @ Sole East

Solé East is throwing a combined season-ending/Halloween party on Saturday at 8pm. Guests can expect free food, whatever "witches grog" is, special entertainment and musical acts. Their costume contest winner will receive a free weekend stay. And in case you'd rather not drive after getting in the Halloween spirit, they're offering $89 rooms.

B. Smith's Restaurant

Probably the biggest Halloween Party this year—they're "expecting over 500 people"—is the True-ly Blood-y Halloween Party at B. Smith's in Sag Harbor. It takes place on Saturday and kicks off at 8pm. Tickets are $25.

Maison Blanche

Shelter Island's Maison Blanche offers two ways to enjoy the holiday. Friday through Sunday from 7pm to 10pm, visitors can check out "The Dark Mansion." On Saturday, they'll be throwing a costume party at 9pm. The cost is $15 with part of the proceeds going to benefit breast cancer research.
