Tell us, what’s in your Hamptons love letter?

In the spirit of the quickly-approaching Valentine’s Day, we’re having readers write us their love letters to the Hamptons in the comments of this post.

Our love letter to the Hamptons wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the beautiful beaches, the summer greenery, and the fact that no matter how hard we try, we can never get all the sand out of our cars.

But as with any relationship, your feelings toward the East End could very well be complicated or riddled with paradoxes. Even though the traffic on the South Fork becomes unbearable in the summer months, we still love it here.
