What/Where: A charming 90-year-old cottage in East Hampton village.
Size: 2,478 square feet, 0.32 acres.
This week’s PriceSpotter is a redesigned cottage from 1929 sited south of the highway in East Hampton village. The 2,478-square-foot home—known as the Bee Cottage—was purchased in the fall of 2017 by local artist, Stephanie Clark. Features include a fireplace in the living room, a blue galley-style kitchen with a breakfast nook, a butler’s pantry, and a finished lower level. There are period details throughout the home, while French doors lead outside to a covered terrace, gardens, and a heated gunite pool with fountains on 0.32 acres of land.
There are three bedrooms and three full bathrooms inside, making it a good size house for a couple, a small family, or as a East End weekend retreat.
We aren’t revealing an address quite yet, but we will tell readers that the house is just steps from East Hampton village shops and restaurants, and a little over a mile from the ocean at Egypt Beach.
Clark purchased the house last year for just under $3 million, so we’re going to start the guessing at $3 million since it’s been updated.
