On Monday, we asked readers to try and guess the asking price of this recently renovated three-level home in the Northwest Woods area of East Hampton. On the market for $1,595,000, nearly half of our readers were correct.
Forty-six percent of votes went to the category between $1.5 million and $1.75 million, while about thirty percent of our readers thought that it was asking even higher.
Located at 4 Spread Oak Lane, the 3,500-square-foot home is sited on nearly an acre of land. Interiors include four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, wood floors, a fireplace in the living room, and a brand new kitchen with a large center island. Downstairs, a finished lower level has direct access outside and to the attached two-car garage. Outside, there’s a pool and patio space for dining and entertaining.
Compass Real Estate agent Christopher Ritchey represents the listing.
Originally built back in 1974, the house last sold in 2014 for $960,000. Considering the renovations that have been done and the current state of the interiors, what do our readers think of the asking price? Tell us in the comments.
