A modern style house with retro vibes from 1990 has just landed on the market for $4.9 million.

Located in south-of-the-highway Water Mill, the 3,700-square-foot structure offers four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. Features include a double-height living room with a wall of windows, a fireplace, and a large eat-in kitchen with sliding glass doors that lead to a dining patio outside.

Admittedly, the house needs some work. We’re thinking that the new owners will want to swap out the tile floors and carpeting for hardwood and renovate the kitchen and bathrooms.

The spacious 1.5-acre property is sited just over a mile from the ocean at Fowler Beach and about the same distance from the Parrish Art Museum.

According to the Zillow price history, the house has been available for sale in the past. From 2011 to 2015, the house was on and off the market with a consistent $5.59 million asking price. Up until earlier this week, it was available to rent.
