In Water Mill, a 0.59-acre compound host to a century-old farmhouse and a brand new barn with a pool house and legal second-floor apartment has just come on the market for $3,545,000.

The main house offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a sun porch, a fireplace in the living room, hardwood floors throughout, and French doors that lead outside. Originally built back in 1920, the recent restoration by Artisan Builders and interiors designed by Katrina Hernandez brings the house into the 21st century.

The newly built barn has a pool house on the ground level, which includes an open floorplan living and dining space, a kitchenette, and a half-bathroom. Upstairs, one will find a legal guest apartment with a kitchen, bedroom, and one full bathroom. The apartment can only be reached via a private entrance outside, allowing guests or tenants plenty of privacy.

Outside, there’s a heated gunite pool, a deck, and a detached two-car garage.

Katrina Hernandez purchased the property in 2016 for $1.55 million. Saunders real estate agent Chris Covert represents the current listing.

Sited at 95 Strongs Lane, the north-of-the-highway home is located about 2 miles from Water Mill shops, and about 2.5 miles from Bridgehampton’s Main Street.
