When this woodsy Northwest Woods cottage with walls of windows and water views came on the market, we were drawn to it. After just over two years, the East Hampton property has found a buyer and is currently pending a sale.

In September of 2016, the house became available for sale with a $2.85 million asking price, and slowly dropped that price over the next two years. Most recently, the listing was cut from $2,495,000 down to $1,995,000 in June of 2018. Earlier this week, a contract was signed.

Standing 3,000 square feet with four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms, this contemporary style home offers walls of windows with views of the surrounding landscape, beamed vaulted ceilings in the living room, hardwood floors, and an open floorplan. There are two master suites and four fireplaces.

Outside, homeowners will enjoy an infinity edge gunite pool with views out to Three Mile Harbor, a pool cabana with a kitchen, an attached two-car garage, and a hot tub.

The house was built in 2007 and, according to PropertyShark records, sold in 2008 for $3 million.

Located at 59 Oyster Shores Road, the half-acre property is about 3.5 miles north of East Hampton village shops and restaurants.

Sotheby’s International Realty agents Kathy Koznet and Keri Dayton represent the listing.
