Earlier this week, we had readers try to guess the asking price of this renovated waterfront house in the Pine Neck neighborhood of Sag Harbor. The house is listed for $2.95 million with Douglas Elliman agent Jeanine Edington, making about 29 percent of our readers correct.

The house was last purchased in 2006 for $1,425,000—but since then it’s been updated. Features of the 2,440-square-foot home at 75 Pine Neck Avenue include three bedrooms, two bathrooms, hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, an open floorplan, and waterview floor-to-ceiling windows off the living room. A brand new kitchen hosts stainless steel appliances and marble countertops.

Sited waterfront on Mill Creek—which leads directly into Noyack Bay—the 0.35-acre property also has a newly built deep water dock that can accommodate a 27-foot boat.

According to the Zillow price history, the house was listed for $3.28 million in 2016. What do our readers think of the drop in asking price? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
