Designer Carmen Marc Valvo and his partner Christian Knaust listed their dreamy waterfront house in Bridgehampton back in July of 2017 for $8.25 million and have since cut the asking price several times. After the most recent price cut earlier this week, the incredible property is now on the market for $6,445,000—almost $2 million less than the original listing.

Sited on an acre of land, the 4,400-square-foot shingled house has four bedrooms and six full bathrooms, a gourmet chef’s kitchen, and a third-floor loft with views over Mecox Bay and out to the ocean.

Features include hardwood floors, a fireplace in the living room, and French doors throughout that lead to private balconies and the exterior living space.

Outside, one will find a heated gunite pool, an attached pool house, a two-car garage with a second-floor studio, and a wisteria-covered pergola with dining and lounging space beneath. A private dock leads homeowners out to a creek that continues into Mecox Bay.

The couple purchased the property in 1998 for $755,000 according to PropertyShark records.

Saunders agent Christopher Covert represents the listing.
