A Greek Revival with a light blue exterior and period details found inside has just come on the market for $3,395,000 in Sag Harbor village.

Built in 1840, the home at 31 Hampton Street once belonged to Captain Daniel Smith. It’s been available to rent over the last few years, but this is the first time since 2007 that it’s been on the sales market. Eleven years ago, it sold for $1.95 million, and before that in 2004 the property closed for $1.05 million according to the Zillow price history.

Inside the 3,800 square feet of living space, there are four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms between three levels—including the second-floor master suite with a sitting room, and an ensuite bedroom that occupies the entire third floor minus a small unfinished attic.

Interior features include wide plank hardwood floors, four fireplaces, an eat-in kitchen with a breakfast nook, and French doors that lead out to the private backyard with a pool and mature landscaping on 0.3 acres of land. Outside, new owners will also enjoy a wraparound porch.

The property is represented by Brown Harris Stevens agent, Jane Holden, and Jon Vaccari from Saunders Real Estate. There will be an open house on Thursday, September 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
