The houses aren’t massive, but they’re all on decent-sized lots

Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can buy or rent for a certain price in the Hamptons.

Today’s price: $1 million in East Hampton’s Northwest Woods neighborhood.

485 Hands Creek Road: $998K

Sited on 2 acres of land, this is the largest property featured. But at 1,645 square feet, the home is one of the smaller ones here. Inside, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, hardwood pecan floors, a second-floor master suite with a steam shower and jacuzzi tub plus a door that leads to an outdoor shower, and a finished basement.

Outside, there’s a fenced-in vegetable garden, detached two-car garage, a wraparound porch, and room for a pool, tennis court, and expansion.

This 1,600-square-foot home on a half-acre of land is the smallest house that we’re featuring, and the smallest lot. The updated three-bedroom, two-bath house offers an open floorplan, hardwood floors, a remodeled eat-in kitchen, a large master suite, and an unfinished lower level. A large mahogany deck outside is perfect for entertaining, while new owners will also enjoy the heated pool.

This two-bedroom, two-bathroom house is sited on a full acre of land. Inside the 2,016-square-foot home, there are high ceilings, open living spaces, a professional chef’s kitchen, hardwood floors throughout, and a masonry fireplace. We’re particularly fond of the spiral staircase that leads to a second-floor landing with sliding doors and an outdoor deck.

There are multiple decks outside, as well as a garage, a pool, and community access to a private beach.

58 Northwest Landing Road: $880K

The largest home that we’re featuring here stands 2,200 square feet in size on a full acre of land. Inside the recently renovated home, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a fireplace and cathedral ceiling in the living room, and a first-floor master suite with a slider that leads out to a screened-in porch. The kitchen doesn’t look like it was renovated and could benefit from new cabinets and countertops, but we like the layout and stainless steel refrigerator.

Outside, there is a deck and a hot tub.
