Midcentury home in Hampton Bays quickly finds a buyer

What do you think the new owners will do to renovate?

Just two weeks ago, we featured the recently-listed midcentury home at 1A Beatrice Drive in Hampton Bays, listed for $729,000. After less than a month on the market, the home has found a buyer and gone into contract.

Admittedly, the home needs some work—particularly in the kitchen. But the home could be a fun project, especially for those who love and appreciate midcentury modern homes.

Inside 1,800 square feet, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace in the living room, wood-beamed ceilings, an open floorplan, and a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The half-acre property also features an expansive deck, a pool, and deeded water access on Wells Creek, which leads directly into Shinnecock Bay.

We’re excited to see what the new owners choose to do with the home—if they renovate, what the after photos will look like, or, if they tear it down, what they build in its place.

Douglas Elliman agents Terry Thompson and Gina Larucci represent the listing.
