Being a real estate agent is hard work. And even though homes on the East End are always selling, that doesn’t mean that every house is going to be scooped up easily. Some homes in the Hamptons sit for a long time before they finally find a buyer offering the right price.
But if you were going to be a real estate agent in the Hamptons, which town would you want to sell homes in? While agents can represents homes in multiple areas—and many East End realtors do—typically, they’ll cover properties in a specific town or neighborhood that they know particularly well.
Would you want to represent only the luxury listings like Bespoke? Would you want to cover Bridgehampton spec houses on the ocean? What about Sag Harbor whaling cottages?
