We absolutely adore this renovated 19th century Sag Harbor home on Jermain Avenue, which recently relisted with Sotheby’s International Realty agent, Dana Trotter. Now listed for $1,595,000, the property came on the market for $1,799,000 back in October of 2017.

Originally built in 1840, the charmer has been brought up to date with contemporary finishes, but still maintains a bit of its original history. In 2,600 square feet of living space, there are five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and one half-bathroom. Other features include a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, a screened-in porch, a butler’s pantry off the kitchen, and a first-level master suite.

According to the listing, recent improvements on the home include a new coat of paint inside, a renovated upstairs bathroom, a new water filtration system, a new brick driveway, and new fences and gates outside.

Aside from the brand new exterior improvements, the tiny 0.15-acre property also offers hedging for privacy and an artist’s studio, which looks like it’s currently being used as a kid’s playhouse.

Located at 160 Jermain Avenue, the property is just a half-mile from Sag Harbor’s Main Street village shops and restaurants, and about the same distance from Haven’s Beach.
