This tiny Montauk home with a glass dining room is asking $830K

Imagine enjoying breakfast and a cup of coffee in that sunroom? Yes, please!

A good tiny home in the Hamptons is hard to find. But this cute renovated cottage in Montauk is a decent contender for an affordable pint-sized home, and it’s stealing our hearts.

Standing a compact 800 square feet on 0.12 acres, the 1965 home has just two bedrooms and one bathroom. So, as with any tiny home on the East End, it may not be suitable for those looking to entertain massive Hamptons parties, but it’s perfect for couples or small families who may see the occasional guest or two.

We’re pleasantly surprised at how spacious the kitchen is considering the limited square footage that the house provides. Features include hardwood floors, updated cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of storage and countertop space.

But the feature that we adore most is the glass dining room off the kitchen. Imagine enjoying breakfast and cup of coffee in the morning in a sunroom like that? Yes, please. Sliding doors off the dining room lead to an outdoor shower.

As expected, the bedrooms are tiny, and with just one bathroom for everyone to share, there is unfortunately not a proper master suite.

Owning the home will cost $830,000. It last sold in 2015 for $668,000. Corcoran Group real estate agents, Constance Tighe and John Taylor, represent the listing.

Located at 63 Second House Road, the property is a short walking distance from the ocean at Umbrella Beach and village shops and restaurants.
