Our readers fell in love with this ultra cool original Leisurama in Montauk when it went on the market for $799,000 at the end of May.

Just days after listing, the ’60s time capsule found a buyer and went into contract, and now the home has officially sold for $850,000—more than $50,000 above the original asking price.

Standing just 1,066 square feet, the pre-fab home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the original Murphy bed in the den, and a floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace in the living room. Outside, on 0.17 acres, there’s a 50-year-old cherry tree and deeded beach access.

Located at 33 Pinetree Drive in Montauk’s Culloden Shores beach community, the property is less than a mile from Gosman’s and about three miles north of the ocean at Ditch Plains Beach.

Halstead Real Estate agents Timothy Burch and William Kuneth represent the listing.
