Adorable, renovated North Sea cottage could be your Labor Day rental for just $3K

Finding a short-term rental this close to the holiday can be tough, but this Southampton cottage is still available

Still looking for a short-term rental for the quickly-approaching Labor Day Weekend? Finding a short-term rental this close to the holiday can be tough when inventory is more scarce and rental prices could easily skyrocket.

But fortunately, an affordable four-bedroom cottage in Southampton’s North Sea neighborhood is still available with a short-term rental price of $3,000—and it’s actually pretty stylish.

While we love the large deck outside, the cottage’s exterior isn’t the most attractive part of this house. But stepping inside, the renovated residence has a cozy vibe with just 1,320 square feet, wide plank hardwood floors, high ceilings, and a contemporary design.

The living room may be small, but it looks incredibly comfortable: Skylights bring natural light inside while a pale blue wall gives it a beachy aesthetic. The kitchen would benefit from a face lift and stainless steel appliances, but it’s not bad for what it is.

There are, of course, a few downsides to the home. Even though this house has four bedrooms, there’s only one bathroom that everyone has to share. And the decent-sized 0.61-acre property unfortunately doesn’t have a pool.
