An oceanfront property on Dune Road in Quogue has just come on the market for $13.5 million.
The home itself isn’t very big—it stands just 1,600 square feet in size with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. But the shingle style home—built in 1993—is sited on a sizable 3 acres with 212 feet of direct ocean frontage, and that’s enough to catch our attention.
This isn’t the first time that the home at 154 Dune Road in Quogue has been on the market. Back in 2016, the home was listed for $16.2 million. It last sold in 2007 for $8.6 million, according to the Zillow price history.
Admittedly, the interiors could use some work to be brought up to date. Namely, the wood paneling on the walls in the living room make the space feel darker. But it does look like the eat-in kitchen got a recent renovation, and the hardwood floors seem to be in good shape.
There’s a stone fireplace in the living room as well as the master bedroom, which also has an ensuite marble bathroom.
The downside? As with many Dune Road homes, it isn’t the most private, despite the acreage. The nearby homes look like they’re in close proximity in the listing photos—but the long driveway definitely helps.
Real estate agent Robert Cullen from Daniel Gale represents the listing.
