Beachfront fixer-upper in East Hampton quickly finds a buyer

It’s not uncommon to see homes that need some work sitting on the market for a decent amount of time—but this Sammy’s Beach home right on Gardiner’s Bay found a buyer after less than two months on the market at $2.7 million.

The beach house has 2,000 square feet of living space, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms on a half-acre of bayfront land that boasts 100 feet of direct water frontage.

It offers a good starting point with hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, an open floorplan, and amazing water views from nearly every room. But we’re thinking that the new owners are going to want to remove the wood-paneled walls, gut the kitchen, and breathe new life into the bedrooms.

There are no photos of the bathrooms on the listing, so those are probably in need of some serious work, too.

Located at 39 Sammy’s Beach Road in East Hampton, the property is about 8 miles north of the ocean at Main Beach.
