A Leisurama in Montauk quickly went into contract earlier this summer

At the beginning of the summer, we featured a Montauk Leisurama from the 1960s that went on the market for $799,000—and quickly found a buyer after just weeks available for sale. If you missed your opportunity to own the midcentury home with lots of history, then don’t worry. Another original Leisurama has just listed at 143 Soundview Drive for $835,000.

This time capsule stands 1,050 square feet in size with two bedrooms and just one and a half bathrooms on 0.17 acres of land. Inside, there are cathedral ceilings, three ceiling fans, new casement windows, the original fireplace, and a brick accent wall in the living room. The new owner will also get the original Leisurama bedroom furniture.

The exterior features a cedar shingle siding and decking for lounging or dining.

Located in the northern Culloden Point area of Montauk, the home is about 4 miles north of the ocean at Ditch Plains Beach. The property comes with deeded bay beach access.

Do our readers think that this midcentury prefab will find a buyer as quickly as the other Leisurama? Tell us in the comments.
