What/Where: An oceanview compound in Montauk, built in 2014.
Size: 4,900 square feet, 0.68 acres.

This week, we’re having readers guess the asking price of this East End compound, featuring a four-bedroom main house, a two-bedroom guest house, and a pool house with a half-bathroom. Sited on 0.68 acres of land, the oceanview property is across the street to a private Hither Hills beach.

Built in 2014, the main house has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, a foyer with double-height ceilings, a gourmet kitchen and full butler’s pantry, and hand-painted white oak flooring in the formal dining room. And indoor-outdoor bluestone porch features two fireplaces and space for lounging or dining.

The master suite is sited on the second floor and features a fireplace, dressing room, and ensuite bathroom with soaking tub.

Outside, there’s a heated gunite pool and spa, a two-car garage, and a pool house with a wet bar and outdoor shower. Guests will be comfortable in a privately situated and separate guest house, which includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and ocean views from the second floor.

The property was purchased in 2012 for $2.15 million, but the home was added since then, so we’re going to start the guessing at $8 million.
