Professional matchmaker, Janis Spindel, has just put her Bridgehampton estate on the market for $3,595,000.

Spindel—who founded Janis Spindel Serious Matchmaking, Inc.—has been a notable matchmaker since starting her business in 1993, and since then has been responsible for over 3,100 marriages, according to her website. In 2006, she authored Get Serious About Getting Married: 365 Proven Ways to Find Love in Less Than a Year, which became a New York Times Bestseller.

She’s based in New York City, but she also has a summer office on the East End.

Her 6,000-square-foot Bridgehampton house has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms inside, as well as a double-height foyer, hardwood floors, a fireplace in the great room, a gourmet chef's kitchen with a butler’s pantry, and a first-floor master suite with French doors that lead out to the pool and deck. The second-floor master suite balcony boasts distant ocean views, according to the listing.

The exterior offers a heated gunite pool, bluestone patios, and mature landscaping.

Spindel purchased the home at 9 Fair Hills Lane in 2007 for $3.19 million. The 1.1-acre property is about 5 miles from the ocean, and about 3 miles north of Bridgehampton shops and restaurants.
