A cute blue cottage in East Hampton quickly goes into contract

New, 1 comment

It was on the market for not even a full month before a contract was signed.

Just last month, we featured the adorable blue and yellow cottage at 11 Miller Lane in East Hampton, listed for $895,000. After less than a month on the market, the quarter-acre property has found a buyer and a contract was signed last week.

Built in 1964, the 1,200-square-foot home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, cathedral ceilings in the living room, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, and French doors that lead to a pergola-covered dining space outside. Inside, there are hardwood floors throughout and a fireplace.

We found the master suite quite unique in this home—while it’s not uncommon for master bedrooms to feature a private entrance, this one has its private entrance off the bathroom. Enter through a Dutch door into the bathroom where one will find a wall-mounted shower, and go right into the bedroom and remained of the house.

The downside is that the property doesn’t have a pool, so we’re thinking the new homeowner will want to add one.
