How much for a newly built waterfront modern home in Water Mill?

Size: 6,000 square feet, 0.5 acres.

This week’s PriceSpotter is a brand new modern home on Mecox Bay in Water Mill with walls of glass, views of both the bay and the ocean, and a rooftop entertaining deck. Designed by Barnes Coy Architects, there are five bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms in 6,000 square feet of living space, with an elevator servicing all four levels.

Features include floor-to-ceiling windows, electronic shades for privacy, and a Sonos sound system. There’s also wide plank French oak flooring throughout the upper levels and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.

The lower level has two separate entrances and is mostly storage for water sports equipment or boating gear—plus a radiant heat three-car garage—while there are five ensuite bedrooms on the first level. The master suite hosts a private terrace with wood decking and a teak ceiling, his and her’s bathrooms with radiant heat flooring, and a sound system.

On the second level, one will find the living and dining rooms laid out in an open floorplan, a 50-foot retractable glass wall, and 1,000 square feet of outdoor living space on a covered terrace with a barbecue and outdoor television.

Finally, the rooftop entertaining area has a heated pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, an outdoor TV, a powder room, elevator access, and a 42-foot clear glass railing.

Set on a half-acre of land, there’s also a private dock on Mecox Bay.

Since it’s a waterfront property in south-of-the-highway Water Mill, we’re going to start the guessing at $15 million.
