It’s been on the market for about a year

In July of 2017, Antoine Verglas—a fashion photographer known for a photo of Melania Trump that was taken back in 2000 and resurfaced during the latest presidential election—put his oceanfront Amagansett compound on the market for $12.5 million under Douglas Elliman Real Estate agents, Carol Nobbs and Ronald White. Almost a year later, the property spanning 2.8 acres has found a buyer under the unchanged asking price.

Both properties were also on the market separately: The 55 Dunes Lane address was listed for $6.9 million, while the 61 address was asking $5.6 million. The entire compound features 200 feet of ocean frontage and views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Napeague Harbor.

The home at the 55 address is 2,000 square feet in size on an acre and a half of land. There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms inside. The interiors need some updating—there are wood paneled walls throughout, a stone fireplace, and an outdated kitchen inside, but there are some great features to the home as well.

Hardwood floors can be found throughout the home while a skylight is sited in the living room. Sliding glass doors lead to the pool and deck.

Unfortunately there’s only one photo available of the interiors at the 61 address—but if it’s representative of what the rest of the house looks like then it’s safe to say that the smaller 1,800-square-foot home is the more up-to-date on the compound.

This three-bedrooms, two-bath beach house is sited on 1.3 acres. Outside, there’s a deck and pool.
