The Real Housewives of New York star, Luann de Lesseps, has put her house on the market for $6.25 million in Sag Harbor, reports the New York Post. The home is also available to rent for the month of August for $150,000.
De Lesseps posted a brief video on her Instagram of the Catskills, with a caption that implies she could be moving to Upstate New York.
The former countess purchased her historic waterfront home from 1835 in December of 2013 after it was on the market for $2.65 million. Since buying the home, she updated the interiors to give the home a fresh look.
Standing 2,500 square feet with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, the Greek Revival style abode features wide plank floors, a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and wood block counters, and three fireplaces throughout. French doors lead to an outdoor deck, a waterfront dock on Upper Sag Harbor Cove, and a winterized studio with a full bathroom—but there isn’t a pool on the 0.31-acre property.
We’re curious to hear what our readers think of the $6.25 million asking price, especially considering just five years ago, de Lesseps purchased the home for close to its $2.65 million ask. Down the street, an 1840 Greek Revival with around the same square footage and about half the acreage is asking $3,395,000 at 330 Main Street. That house doesn’t have water frontage, though.
Chris Burnside of Brown Harris Stevens has the listing.
