Morgan Hill Farm in Bridgehampton sells for $14.9M

It was last asking $18M

The waterfront property known as Morgan Hill Farm in Bridgehampton went into contract earlier this spring under its most recent $18 million asking price. After closing, the property has officially sold for $14.9 million.

In March of 2017, Morgan Hill Farm went on the market for $21 million, but in a short time span the listing came down to the $18 million price tag.

There is an ’80s mansion on the pondfront farm spanning 12,000 square feet, but there are no interior photos available, so we’re thinking that it’s likely not in the best shape and will probably be torn down by the new owners—especially considering the listing suggests building a new home up to 15,000 square feet in size.

Set on a desirable 11.54 acres of land with 770 feet of direct pond frontage, the property itself allows for plenty of privacy for its owners. But in addition to its size and water frontage, it also borders over 30 acres of development rights sold land to the east, meaning the neighboring land can’t be built up.

In addition to a 15,000-square-foot manse, the property can also yield a pool, pool house, guest house, equestrian barn, and a horse farm. There’s already an existing basketball court and a tennis court on the massive property.

In 2010, the property sold for $11,149,900 according to public record.
