While this home may not look like it has much to offer now, we think that the 1,300-square-foot cape style home from 1991 has a lot of potential. With the right design, this North Sea home could be updated and transformed into a cozy Hamptons getaway.

Of course, the home has several things working against it. For one, it has three bedrooms but just one bathroom—meaning there isn’t a proper master suite. Secondly, the location is relatively close to North Sea Road, which is a busy artery and gets particularly traffic-dense in the summer. Though it’s sited away from the direct heavy traffic on Little Fresh Pond Road, it’s not far at all from the main road, so the homeowners wouldn’t be afforded the utmost privacy.

But there are also a lot of things that work for the home, too: There are hardwood floors throughout that have the potential to be in tip-top shape after a restoration, and it’s right across the street from Little Fresh Pond. The listing also boasts a new cedar roof, two garages, and room for a pool in the backyard.

The interiors feature arched doorways, a brick fireplace, and lots of room for improvement. Sited on a quarter-acre property, this home is asking $525,000.
