This massive 13,000-square-foot mansion in south-of-the-highway Sagaponack has just listed under Corcoran Group’s luxury real estate agent, Susan Breitenbach, for $23.95 million.
The estate was originally built in 2008, but the listing claims that it’s “totally pristine” and “like brand new.” Looking at the photos, the home looks like it could be a new construction, especially with the contemporary marble countertops in the chef’s kitchen, dark hardwood floors, cozy home movie theater, and the indoor-outdoor sunroom with a fireplace and wall of glass windows.
Other features include a paneled entry foyer, paneled library, gym, French doors that lead to the exterior, and a finished lower level.
There are a total of nine bedrooms and 12 bathrooms inside the magnificent home, including double master suites. Outside, there’s a pool house, pool, outdoor living space, and sunken Har-Tru tennis court.
Located at 209 Hedges Lane, the property is adjacent to a nature reserve, ensuring a level of privacy. It’s located about a mile and a half away from the ocean at Gibson Beach, and about two miles from Wölffer Estate Vineyards.
The property was purchased in May of 2007 for $18,176,280 under a limited liability company titled Camp Hedges.
We want to hear from our readers regarding the price: Do you think that it’s too high or do you think $23.95 million is a fair amount to ask? Tell us in the comments.
