Argentinian architect, Jorge Sosa, designed this modernist cube house in 2006, and this summer it could be your Hamptons retreat. Standing 4,050 square feet in size with four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, the home isn’t available for the full season rental period from Memorial Day to Labor Day, but it is available for the month of July for $60,000, from July to Labor Day for $125,000, or for the month of August for $70,000.

From the outside, the glass walls are the most striking feature, encompassing two sides of the main living space. Inside, the double-height living room allows views from the surrounding landscape right into the home.

In the kitchen, one will find 1-inch thick glass countertops, a steamer, Thermador ovens, and two sinks, while the dining room has a fireplace. The second-floor master suite also features a fireplace, but this one has a modern rotating feature. There’s also a private balcony and master bathroom with a free standing soaking tub and separate office space.

Outside, tenants will enjoy a heated gunite pool, Japanese river rock coping, bluestone patios, and a stainless steel hot tub. Sited at 28 Clamshell Avenue in the Northwest Woods area of East Hampton, the property is close to Hands Creek, which leads into Three Mile Harbor.

If you find that you’re so in love with the home that you never want to leave it, it’s also on the sales market for $2,995,000. It’s been on and off the market since 2012, at which time it was listed for $3,495,000.
