Century-old Bridgehampton home on Ocean Road asks $3.295M

New, 2 comments

We love the historic charm that this 100-year-old home has

Built 100 years ago in 1918, this Bridgehampton home at 63 Ocean Road has just landed on the market for the first time in over 26 years for $3,295,000 under Saunders Real Estate agent, Victoria Quoss.

Set on just over an acre of land sited a short walking distance from village shops and restaurants, the listing claims that the property is currently 50% cleared, but the town zoning would allow for total clearing to make room for building or expansion. The parcel can accommodate an 8,000-square-foot structure with a pool and pool house if the new owners decide to tear the century-old charmer down.

The home currently stands 2,700 square feet in size with five bedrooms and three bathrooms, and while the history of the home has been maintained throughout, it has received modern touches over the years to bring it up to date. In particular, the renovated eat-in kitchen looks brand new, the third floor attic has been finished, and there’s an updated heating system and central air conditioning.

Outside, there isn’t a pool, decking, or patio space, but those could be added by the new owners.

Sited right near the village, the property is about two and a half miles from the ocean at the end of Ocean Road.
