Southampton new-build near the ocean sells for $15M

The home stands a massive 10,500 square feet in size

Brown Harris Stevens

A newly-built mansion in Southampton’s estate section has sold for $15 million after going on the market in August of last year for $16.65 million. The property went into contract under the original asking price earlier this month, and soon after sold for a bit less than it was listed for.

In a whopping 10,500 square feet of living space, the estate features eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms on nearly an acre of land. Inside, there’s a gourmet eat-in kitchen, a great room with a wood-burning fireplace, master suites on the first and second levels, and a finished lower level with a gym and home theater.

Dark hardwood floors and white walls are found throughout the space, while the master suite continues that same aesthetic with the added feature of an accent wall. An open shelving unit in the kitchen hangs down from the ceiling and floats above the center island.

The property has an outdoor living space with a pool, pool cabana, and marble patio.

Located at 155 Wyandanch Lane, the property is just a quarter-mile from the ocean at the end of Wyandanch Lane.

In 2014, the property sold for $8.15 million under Brown Harris Stevens agent, Shaunagh Byrne, the same agent who represented its recent $15 million sell.
