Rent a renovated Sag Harbor home from 1872 this summer for $60K

The price isn’t too bad for this totally modernized historic home

Sag Harbor is known for its historic homes from the 1800s. Many of the Sag Harbor village homes from the 19th century have been restored, updated, and brought into the 21st century while still being careful to maintain the historic period details that make the homes unique.

This farmhouse is no exception: Built in 1872, the 2,500-square-foot home has been totally renovated to now feature three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, an open kitchen, front porch with swing, and a master suite with walk-in closets.

It could be yours for the entire summer for $60,000. For shorter periods of time, the home is available for July for $25,000, from July to Labor Day for $50,000, or from August to Labor Day for $30,000.

On 0.7 acres of land, there’s also a guest cottage in the back of the property behind the vegetable garden that hosts a living, bedroom, and full bathroom.

The downside is that the property doesn’t have a pool. And unfortunately the listing doesn’t give an exact address either, so we can’t quite tell how close to the beaches or village shops and restaurants the property is. But we’re thinking that $60,000 seems like a good deal for the whole summer—even if there isn’t a pool on the property.

The home is listed with Mala Sander from Corcoran Group Real Estate and Caroline Sarraf from Compass.
