Back in 2014, the 2,200-square-foot cottage at 200 Ocean Road in Bridgehampton was purchased for $2,125,000 and since then, has been renovated and brought up to date.

We actually featured the cottage that same year when it was on the market for $2.25 million—and some of our readers recognized the charm and potential that the home had, but others weren’t so convinced that the location was all that great. Considering it’s not directly on the highway, it would still be relatively quiet compared to the homes up the road.

Plus, it’s still walking distance to Bridgehampton shops and restaurants and a quick bike ride from the ocean—and a central location is ideal for summer tenants who may not have a car in the Hamptons for the season.

Sited on a half-acre of land, the property features a heated gunite pool, a two-car garage, and what the listing describes as “gorgeous specimen trees dispersed among some 200-year-old elms.” Inside, there are hardwood floors throughout the living spaces, a full basement, and an eat-in kitchen.

There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms

Unfortunately, the home isn’t available for the whole summer. For the month of July, it’ll cost $45,000, or $55,000 from August to Labor Day. To rent from July to Labor Day will be $95,000. The property is represented by Compass agents Bill Williams and RC Atlee.
