At the end of January, a newly-built modern home at 164 Town Line Road in Sagaponack came on the market for $11.95 million under Corcoran Group’s luxury real estate agent, Gary DePersia.

After just four months on the sales market with no changes in price, the home found a buyer and went into contract. Last week, it sold and closed for $11.5 million—just $450,000 under the asking price.

When we first featured the home in January, one commenter noted that it “looks nice and has all that one would need,” but they weren’t so happy with the design, writing that it looks like a lot of other newly-built homes in Sagaponack and lacks a unique quality.

The 6,800-square-foot home hast six bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms as well as a finished lower level and an oceanview rooftop deck. Interiors include a double-height entry, white-washed oak floors, an eat-in kitchen with professional appliances, and a second-level master suite with a private balcony and dual walk-in closets. The finished lower level hosts a gym, sauna, 7,500-bottle wine cellar, recreation room, two bedrooms, and a room that was designed to be a future home theater.

Outside, there are stone patios, a heated gunite pool and spa, privacy hedging, and a radiant heated garage. It’s located a quarter-mile from the ocean at Town Line Beach.
