Newly-built Hither Hills home near the ocean could be your summer retreat

We love that spacious open floorplan

Finding a new-build to rent out for the summer in the Hamptons can be tough. Most homes have been lived in and are up for rent by the owners, or maybe have even had a summer tenant or two by the time you make your way out east. This Montauk home at 9 Webster Road is totally new and has never been lived in—and could be yours for the month of July for $35,000, or from August to Labor Day for $40,000.

On just a 0.1-acre plot of land, the home stands 1,800 square feet in size and is, according to the listing, just 100 feet from the ocean at the semiprivate Webster Beach in the Hither Hills neighborhood of Montauk.

The shingle style structure features four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, a modern design, a spacious open floorplan, and ocean views.

We don’t see any ocean views from the listing photos, other than one beach shot. But considering the location of the home, we think those views are in there somewhere. We’ve included a shot of the home’s location so readers can see just how close the property is to the beach.

Represented by Greg Burns of Compass Real Estate, the property sold in February of this year for $1.8 million.
