At the end of last year, the Ocean Surf Resort in Montauk listed for sale with a price tag of $25 million under Brown Harris Stevens listing agent, Jose Dos Santos. After six months on the market, the commercial property has just taken $3 million off its asking price, now listed for $22 million.
Unfortunately, the property is just a half-acre—but its right on the ocean and has 160 feet of water frontage. The current structure stands 9,400 square feet, and the listing suggests the “possibility of conversion to co-op units as well as expansions.”
Right now, there are 26 hotel rooms inside the resort as well as four storage areas and three staff quarters.
The location is great for staying nearby village shops and restaurants. At 84 South Emerson Avenue, it’s only just down the street from the Sloppy Tuna and a close walk to 668 The Gig Shack.
