If you want to live like a celebrity during your stay in the Hamptons for the U.S. Open this June, you can rent the Southampton estate of Rick and Kathy Hilton for $50,000 from June 11 to June 18. That’s right—for just one week, it’ll cost you $50,000 to live in the Hamptons like a Hilton.
The couple purchased the property in 1999 for $2,385,000. Sited on nearly 3 acres of land, tenants won’t be living such a simple life in the massive 10,000-square-foot shingled home with seven bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, and one half-bathroom. The property was once part of Henry Ford II’s Fordune Estate, which is currently the most expensive home for sale in the Hamptons with a $175 million asking price.
After a recent renovation of the kitchen and bathroom, the home is renter-ready for this summer. Interiors include an open floorplan, a fireplace in the living room, glass doors that lead out to a covered porch, and a professional kitchen. The master suite has a private deck.
Outside, one will find a heated gunite pool with a waterfall and access to a private ocean beach.
The Hilton home has been available to rent in the past and was asking $425,000 back in the summer of 2014. The property is sited at 9 Fordune Drive.
