A steel-framed glass house with panoramic views over Georgica Creek in the south-of-the-highway estate section of East Hampton has just come on the market for $9,998,000 under Saunders Real Estate agent, Diane Saatchi. Designed by Paul Masi from Bates + Masi Architects, the home was built in 2015 with natural materials including mosaic limestone flooring and bamboo plywood paneling.

In 3,725 square feet of living space on 2.34 acres of waterfront land, the home hosts five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and one half-bathroom. Interior features include recessed lighting, elliptical skylights, and pine plank ceilings.

A double-sided burnished bronze fireplace can be found in the living room and sitting room, while the U-shaped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, open shelving, and a nearby dining area, set in the home’s open floor plan.

The master suite features water views through walls of glass on two sides in addition to a bathroom with stone flooring and spa tub, also with water views.

Outside, there’s a two-car garage, and heated gunite pool.

The property was last purchased back in 1996 for $1,875,000, making this the first time that this contemporary glass house has been on the market.

Editor’s Note: An early version of this article stated that the property was purchased in 2015, but the property was purchased in 1996. The house was built in 2015.
