Rent a rustic Sag Harbor village Greek Revival for $25K this August

New, 2 comments

We love the hardwood floors, beamed cathedral ceilings, and exposed brick in the living room

Built 184 years ago in 1834, this Greek Revival-style home in Sag Harbor village is available to rent for the month of August for $25,000. Even though it may be almost two centuries old, the home has been updated to bring the space into the 21st century, while still holding on to the period details that make this place special.

In 1,800 square feet, there are two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, making it a perfect monthly getaway for small families or couples who may be expecting a guest or two throughout the summer. Interior features include wood-beamed cathedral ceilings in the living room, wide plank hardwood floors, exposed brick behind the fireplace, and a wall of windows.

A downside is the the stainless steel oven is tiny and the kitchen doesn’t provide much countertop space for food prep, but it does look like there’s an island.

There are multiple fireplaces throughout the home, including one in the living room, one in the dining room, and one in the second-level master bedroom.

Sited on a quarter-acre of land, there’s also a cottage in the back of the property, outdoor dining space, and a firepit. The listing claims that a brand new pool will be constructed and ready for summer, but there aren’t any photos available of that quite yet.
