Earlier this week, we had readers try to guess what it would cost to rent this restored farmhouse in Amagansett from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Listed for $200,000 for the entire summer season, about a third of our readers guessed correctly.

Slightly more votes were cast in the lower category—more people thought that it was listed for under $180,000 for the summer. A few people even thought it was asking higher.

Located at 66 Old Montauk Highway, the house was originally built back in 1870. After a restoration, the interiors have gotten a total face lift and now feature bright living spaces and a wide open kitchen with a center island. In 3,200 square feet, there are five bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a wood-burning fireplace, and two staircases among three levels.

The 1.07-acre property also hosts a barn that the listing suggests using as either a yoga studio or an entertainment space. Other exterior living spaces include a 620-square-foot poolside terrace, a heated gunite pool, spa, pool house with a deck and pergola, and a brand new 600-square-foot two-car garage.

Represented by Martha Gundersen of Brown Harris Stevens, the property can be rented for the entire season from Memorial Day to Labor Day for $200,000, for the month of July for $70,000, the month of August for $85,000, or a on a weekly short-term basis for $40,000.
