We love a good oceanfront home. And for those with a little money to splurge on their Hamptons rental this summer, why not go for something that’s right on the amazing ocean beaches that the East End has to offer?

All of these magnificent properties are pricey—but they’re all available for under $1 million for the summer season, from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

210 Meadow Lane, Southampton: $850K

While the best thing about this home is its amazing ocean frontage and views, the downside is that it’s located right on Cooper’s Beach—which is probably one of the most popular and traffic-heavy beaches in the Hamptons come summer. The home actually borders the Cooper’s Beach parking lot.

The incredible Jaffe-designed home that once belonged to New York City socialite Janna Bullock (who is known for flipping mansions) was built in 1986. In 8,500 square feet of living space, there are six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms. Outside, there’s a tennis court and a pool.

719 Daniels Lane, Sagaponack: $820K

What we appreciate about this 4,300-square-foot beach house in Sagaponack is that it isn’t too big—or at least, not for the Hamptons. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms on three-quarters of an acre of land, the home is a manageable size for a summer rental but still offers plenty of space to stretch out and host guests.

The modern home features an indoor-outdoor living design concept, a covered porch, a spa-inspired master bathroom, a steel bulkhead, smart home technology, and a custom-pool.

1271 Flying Point Road, Water Mill: $650K

Built in 2010, this modern beach house on Flying Point Road has four bedrooms and four bathrooms in 4,000 square feet, as well as hardwood flooring throughout, water views from nearly everywhere in the home, and a chef’s kitchen. Outside, there’s a heated gunite infinity pool, Jacuzzi hot tub, two outdoor showers, and a deck that’s perfect for private family dinners or entertaining a number of guests.

2040 Meadow Lane, Southampton: $400K

Sited on a massive 3.7 acres of oceanfront land, this Meadow Lane home has plenty of private beach for its summer tenants. The 7,500-square-foot home offers six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a finished basement, a garage, and private guest quarters.

Aside from incredible ocean access and views, the property also has a heated pool and sunken tennis court.

40 Association Road, Wainscott: $395,000

If you simply just can’t afford to throw $45 million at the iconic Kilkare estate in Wainscott, then renting for the season could be a great option for you. The famous home—which was featured in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind—offers 5,000 square feet of living space on 2.8 acres of oceanfront land.

Built in 1879 by shipbuilders, this home has seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, nine fireplaces, porches overlooking the ocean, a swimming pool surrounded by a stone wall built by Irish masons, and a Zen garden with a yoga platform. The Victorian cottage has only been owned by two families in its 139-year history.
