It’s no secret that the Hamptons is one of the most popular summer beach destinations in the country—and even the world. But not all Hamptons towns are the same; in fact, each one has its own unique character and vibe that’s integral to how its residents or visitors experience the East End.

While many Hamptons towns are key destinations—places like Southampton, East Hampton, Sag Harbor, and Montauk—we want to ask our readers: What’s the up-and-coming Hamptons town?

Personally, I think Hampton Bays is going to see a boom in the coming years. The town recently had its highest residential real estate transaction in history, and even though there aren’t any oceanfront properties, there are some amazing waterfront homes on bay beaches.

And even though some of our readers don’t consider Hampton Bays to be a part of the “true Hamptons,” it’s very possible that that could change in coming years.
