Once listed for $8.25 million, eveningwear designer, Carmen Marc Valvo, has cut the asking price of his dreamy Hamptons home at 111 Pointe Mecox Lane, reports Women’s Wear Daily. Located south of the highway, the home is between Water Mill and Bridgehampton, with creek frontage that leads into Mecox Bay and sited just a half-mile away from the ocean at Mecox Beach.

After coming on the market last July, the estate is now asking $6.95 million under Sotheby’s International Realty agent, Beate Moore.

When it first listed, we were drawn in by the warmth of the house from the hardwood floors and the natural light to the French doors found throughout the space. With a glass breezeway, koi ponds, water views, and wisteria, the home feels like a fantasy getaway for absolute peace and quiet.

Originally built in 1996, the three-story traditional has five bedrooms and six full bathrooms on just over an acre of land. Outside, there’s a heated gunite pool, a dock, gardens, fountains, and a private walkway that leads out to creek access.

Inside, there’s a chef’s kitchen, attached pool house (accessed by the glass breezeway), a temperature-controlled wine cellar, and a bonus room with a bathroom found above the detached two-car garage.
