A light-filled Springs rental near the bay seeks $30K for the summer

It doesn’t have water views or a pool, but for $30K, we like what it does offer

Finding a Hamptons summer rental house can be a feat in and of itself, but finding one that fits your budget and checks all your boxes can be an even more difficult task. While this Springs house may not be right on the water (or even have water views, unfortunately), it’s located in the Clearwater Beach Association, which affords residents private bay beach access.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, this 1,200-square-foot East Hampton home will cost you $30,000. It has three bedrooms and two newly-renovated bathrooms, wide plank floors, a double-height living room, and a new mahogany deck.

Built in 1972, the home has gotten a renovation and has been brought up to date. The living room has a great white brick fireplace, beamed ceilings, and lots of natural light while the kitchen has stainless steel appliances.

While the property is a decent size at a half-acre, and there’s plenty of space in the backyard for outdoor summer parties, there’s no pool.

So the home may not check all those boxes. There are no water views, no pool, and the bedrooms are a bit on the small side. But for $30,000, we like what it does offer.

Located at 158 Kings Point Road, the property is about a mile away from Clearwater Beach, but just a half-mile from the bay beach at the end of Springs Fireplace Road.
